What I Bought Today

Today I went back to Newcastle to exchange someone for something else and when I arrived at the TK Max store I noticed some Karl Lagerfeld T-Shirts and Jumpers, obviously I had to buy one and here is what it looks like

Obviously I am no model by any mean what so ever but as my mum says "You wouldn't be you if you didn't put it on".

Heading back about an hour sitting on the train looking on Waterstones I came across a Book about the legendary Alexander McQueen, what pursaded me to buy this book was that I had read on the description that he had killed himself. I couldn't wrap my head around why someone like him and with everything he had could and would do such a thing, also I bought this book because it's his life history and how he made history in the Fashion World.

I think this book will be very emotional, so I will let you know what I think about this book after I've completed it.

What I Bought Today

Instead of calling this a haul I wanted to simply call this what it was, I bought a mixture of things today while in Newcastle so I simply called it What I Bought Today.

The first place I visited was TK Max which is quite good for high end names at lower prices, I spotted a bag by I ❤ Marc by Marc Jacobs with his i'm assuming his dog on the front and an Eiffel Tower at the other side. I picked this bag because I love dogs and I've been up the Eiffel Tower and I love Paris, France. I also picked up a Versace Jeans by Versace Purse with a Tiger on it, again I love animals and any animal actually.

I mean how cute is that dog?, and that Tiger is fierce.

The next two things I bought were books, now if you saw my collection of books you'd think I was into anything and everything, that is simply because I like to learn and read. I have well over 50 books and these next two are newly added to my book collection and i'm proud to say I now have them.

The first book is all about Louis Vuitton and how the Fashion company started and how it looks now. The other book The World According To Karl is a book all about Karl Lagerfeld is a new favorite of mine as I've read half way through already and I can't put it down. It's funny, sarcastic and makes you wanna read more. I can honestly relate to half the stuff he says, laugh at others and simply be intrigued at the rest, he is after all a very interesting but yet mysterious man but you can't get enough.

I have also bought a Burberry scarf, Tom Ford: 10 Years, some Marc Jacobs beauty but once I get everything that will be another haul.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hope you read my other posts and my future ones :) thank you for reading xoxox

Manny MUA

From tonight i'm going to do a post a day featuring someone who inspires me, first being Manny. A lot of people don't like him, millions of people love him.

I first saw Manny on YouTube about 3 years ago and ever since loved him, I love his personality, the way he does Make-Up, Beauty and everything in between. I had to give this guy a shout out.

This guy is not only amazing for his Beauty and everything he puts out there for the world to see but he responds to his 'fans' all the time, I have tweeted Manny on a few occasions and he's replied just like that. If you want to see what this guy is made of then just watch his videos, he's funny, entertaining and says it how it is. He's very talented and I've always looked up to Manny as an inspiration, I've even copied some of his looks before and even I can't do as good as job as him so that's saying something (lmao).

So if you've read this Manny, Hi. Cute dog by the way (adorable). You're so talented and I hope to be like you one day, thank you for bringing what you have to the table and some awesome liquid lipsticks, my fav is charmed :)

Trisha Paytas

For as long as I can remember I have always hated my body, I've always felt fat and everything I ate bloated me. I don't know if this was my imagination playing with me or I was genuinely bloated and the worse thing was; I was always trying to loose the weight no matter how I did it or what I took. I've tried diet pills, extreme eating habbits i.e not eating at all for as long as I could or after eating throw it all back up, I have tried senna tablets to make myself go etc, etc, etc. I was really depressed with myself and that let me to disconnect with everyone around me as it didn't just effect me but it also effected the way I was reacting to everything, I would instantly become irritated, angry, throw tantrums EVERYTHING.

So where does Trisha come into this your wondering? well, I've been an avid watcher and fan I guess you could call me of this girl, ever since I started watching her she entertained me and I love watching her videos, especially her new material. Now I have a full time job that dedicates a lot of my time and I don't have enough or any time some days to sit and watch Trisha. So to cut a long story short she released a book entitled 'Curvy and Loving it'

This book has changed literally my life, every single time I settle down and want a motivational book that will MAKE ME want to get out of my rut of feeling sorry for myself and hit that gym, GUUURL..... You NEED THIS BOOK.

And no, it's not because it's Trisha Paytas silly, it's not because i'm a fan and have to buy it because she wrote it. It doesn't matter who would have wrote this or a similar book i'd buy it.

A lot of people say "She's the dumb blonde attention seeking whore on YouTube who makes money for nothing and brags about it"...... few things I will say to those people
.....
Yes she is blonde and she looks gorgeous, she does make YouTube videos and I enjoy them VERY MUCH (sometimes too much), Yes she makes money from YouTube because you can do that these days, all of your favorite YouTubers, YES they make money as well and attention seeking whore you say? please, you don't know this girl and even if you did you probably wouldn't say such things because she generally is a really nice down to earth person. How do I know this? well just watch her videos and you can see between the lines.

Obviously on YouTube you have to over do things to make views, that's the whole point in YouTube. Why do you think she now has a few albums out on iTunes and you DON'T, why do you think she has done loads of Photoshoots and you HAVEN'T, who do you think she has Merch with her face on and not forgetting perfume and books and YOU DON'T..You get the point i'm trying to make, she's made this life for herself and WHO WOULDN'T brag about what bag they just got, I know I would..

Anyways enough ranting and let's get on with the photos

This book has actually made me feel better about myself that every time I feel like sitting into a corner and feeling sorry for myself I pick it up and within the first few pages i'm ready to go.

So if you want to motivate yourself with a good book, read this one. You can buy it below on the following links if you wish. Or if you want to know more about the book watch the video below or alternately you can check out her YouTube Channels listed below.

P.S If you don't like her, simply click off and don't watch her, as easy as that

Tom Ford: Ten Years

"Tom Ford caused a sensation when it was first published in 2004. This giant slice of fashion history, now back in print, celebrates the designer’s phenomenal career, during which he brought the house of Gucci back from the dead and then dethroned the great Yves Saint Laurent. With images by Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Steven Meisel and Terry Richardson, as well as texts by Anna Wintour and Graydon Carter, the book showcases Ford’s magic touch on iconic catwalk pieces, provocative ad campaigns and elegant interiors. Anyone with an interest in fashion will want to own Tom Ford."

Tom Ford: 10 Years was published on November 8th, 2004 by Graydon Carter and Bridget Foley.

I have been deeply interested and inspired by Tom Ford over the last few years and for only I own a little of his Cosmetics I wanted to know more about Tom Ford, not for his Fashion, Beauty or Clothing and Accessories but who he really is as a man, a husband, a father and how he began his career. Obviously I know a little portion but I really want to get into the mind of this man and see what he's really made of.

Upon searching his Biography online I came across this book Tom Ford: 10 Years, I read up about it but nobody really talked about it on YouTube, Social Media or any website. So I bought it. There isn't any images of the pages in this book apart from the Front, Back and 1 or 2 images of promotions.

These images below are images from what I could find online as I couldn't wait to show and tell you what my next purchase of Tom Ford was and this is a big purchase.

Tom Ford

I recently went back to Tom Ford in Fenwicks, Newcastle to pick up a Primer and Foundation, after all I do have a few more products by Tom Ford in my Beauty Collection that are now staples in my routine. I absolutely love this man and everything he does.

So far in my Collection I now have a Primer, Foundation, Bronzer & Bronzer Brush, Eye Brow Pencil, Eye Brow Gel, Eyeliner, Eye-shadow Quad & Eye-shadow Brush and last but definitely not least two Lipstick. Oh! and not forgetting his Noir Perfume and Body Moisturizer. No doubt i'll be revisiting in the next couple of months for more, that's for damn sure.

The recent two products I recently bought were the Traceless Foundation Stick (left) and Illuminating Primer (right)

I have already tried the Primer as a tester and I was sold right way, it has a soft and creamy finish and it makes your skin glow. The Foundation is a thick consistency but applies beautifully on your skin. I haven't tried the foundation yet but I will for definite write my review here on my Blog to let others know how that goes.

I also looked up on YouTube reviews for the Illuminating Primer and I can't find one at all, so I guess this will have to be a video for me and a Make-Up Tutorial on my YouTube.
